Barry Vercoe, Professor of Music and Professor of Media Arts and Sciences at MIT, and Assoc Academic Head of the Program in Media Arts & Sciences has been awarded the recipient of the 2004 SEAMUS Lifetime Achievement Award. full story

Meet the Performer Database

The Performer Database is a new initiative for SEAMUS members planned for the fall of 2004 which will focus on connecting composers of Electroacoustic Music and performers who either specialize in our music, or are interested in performing EA music. This flexible user-driven database will be a part of our planned web enhancements.

SEAMUS 2004 National Conference

The 2004 National Conference of the Society for Electro Acoustic Music in the United States was held March 23-25, 2004 at San Diego State University, San Diego, CA, hosted by Joseph Waters. 2004 Conference website

SEAMUS 2004 Membership Survey

SEAMUS recently conducted a survey among its membership to determine the priorities and needs the society must address in the coming years.
