Short Bio
I care if you listen calls the music of Fredrick Gifford “a world of characters and colors that explode from the stage.” His works explore openness to create pieces that are never the same twice. His music has been performed and recorded by contemporary ensembles and soloists, and heard at festivals around the world. He has taught on the faculties of the Schools of Music at DePaul and Northwestern Universities in the United States and the Escola Superior de Música e das Artes do Espectáculo, Portugal.
