Short Bio
Thomas D. Brosh learned synthesizer technique in the late 1960s and early 1970s from Philip Batstone at the University of Colorado-Boulder (Buchla Modular EMS-100 Series) and Will Gay Bottje and Alan Oldfield at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale (Electronic Music Studios "Putney" VCS-3 Audio Synthesizer). He has lectured extensively on the subject of electronic music and has written numerous electronic works, ranging from tape alone to tape or live synthesizer with acoustic instruments. Retired in 2001, he taught at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, University of Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver and the Community College of Aurora (Aurora, Colorado).
