During the Spring of 2018, several people close to me experienced heartbreaking loss. Homes, belongings, family, and love were taken away within a strangely brief period of time. Spring’s Second Hand is a reflection on how this loss impacted me and the people around me, how it made me rethink my day-to-day life, and what it means to heal from such pain.

Leigha Amick, violin

Recorded May 3, 2018 at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music – Center for Electronic and Computer Music
